Critical Lead IV Quality Risk

Resubmitted work has an 82% higher rate of synthetic AI filler

Under time pressure during the 15-day window, learners frequently turn to generic AI tools to patch missing criteria. Audit your learners' resubmitted scripts for genuine case evidence and generate oral viva questions before signing the IV sheet.

Pearson BTEC Resubmission Protocol Essentials

1. Single Resubmission

Only one resubmission is permitted per assignment brief. A second resubmission cannot be granted under any circumstances without Pearson Standards Verifier approval.

2. Working Days Definition

15 working days means standard school/college teaching term days. Weekends and official centre holidays must be excluded from the 15-day count.

3. Lead IV Approval Record

Assessors cannot authorise a resubmission independently. The Lead IV must formally confirm the learner submitted on time and signed the authentication declaration.
