Pass

8 criteria

A.P1Explain the setting-out procedures using traditional tools, equipment and processes to a given level of accuracy.

A.P2Perform setting out a structure to define the centre line, and the external and internal faces of the enclosing wall to a given tolerance.

B.P3Perform setting out a drainage run to given tolerances.

B.P4Perform setting out the position of an embankment, cutting and profiles.

B.P5Perform setting out a complex road curve using appropriate methods.

C.P6Produce a pre-excavation survey grid in a drawn format and calculate volumes.

C.P7Calculate the volumes of excavation using an appropriate method.

C.P8Explain how accuracy is achieved in setting out vertical and horizontal elements.
