Pearson BTEC International Level 2 Information Technology is an applied qualification covering a range of IT topics. Pearson’s materials identify units in programming, digital graphics and animation, website and app development, games design, networking, data and the use of IT in organisations. The exact combination depends on the learner’s qualification size.

Plan around the specification

For each selected unit, check the learning aims, evidence requirements and assessment brief before planning software access, practical work and deadlines. Pearson describes the qualification as International-only and first taught in September 2022. The course page links to its specification, sample assessments and internal assessment materials.

Check the criteria before the IV does.

checkb.tech reads learner evidence against the official Pearson criteria and reports every criterion as met, partly met or not met — with the evidence cited. It never awards a grade; the teacher stays the assessor.
