What Is Pearson BTEC International Level 2 Sport?

Pearson BTEC International Level 2 Sport supports initial progression towards roles such as sports coaching, fitness training and testing, sports nutrition, and planning or leading sports events. It is the International suite and should not be confused with Pearson’s UK Level 1/Level 2 Tech Award or other UK Level 2 Sport offers.

Make the qualification choice explicit

Check the qualification size and unit combination for each learner. Then plan practical sessions, facilities and assessment around the unit criteria and assignment instructions. Pearson Set Assignment requirements apply to specified units, so verify each unit rather than assuming all work is centre-set or all is Pearson-set.

Check current rules
