Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Creative Media has four qualification sizes, each with a fixed set of mandatory assessment units. The structure uses assessment units rather than one identical unit count across every size.

Subsidiary Diploma3602
Foundation Diploma5403
Diploma7204
Extended Diploma1,0806

All sizes include A1: Skills Development (270 GLH) and A2: Responding to a Brief (90 GLH). The Foundation Diploma and Extended Diploma also include A3: Creative Project (180 GLH). The Diploma adds B1: Personal Progression (90 GLH) and B3: Creative Industry Response (270 GLH). The Extended Diploma adds B1, B2: Personal Investigation (90 GLH) and B4: Extended Creative Industry Response (360 GLH).

Use the structure table in Pearson’s Issue 5 specification to confirm the sequence and assessment type. For a quick overview of each size, see the qualification guide and its guides to the Subsidiary Diploma, Foundation Diploma, Diploma and Extended Diploma.

Check the criteria before the IV does.

checkb.tech reads learner evidence against the official Pearson criteria and reports every criterion as met, partly met or not met — with the evidence cited. It never awards a grade; the teacher stays the assessor.
