The Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Business is a 510 GLH qualification requiring at least six units. Four are mandatory; optional units must total at least 120 GLH. Pearson presents it as a one-year, full-time course covering Business fundamentals.

Learners must achieve a Pass or above in all mandatory units. Optional units total at least 120 GLH; some choices add 30 GLH. Unit 6, Principles of Management, is another Pearson Set Assignment unit if selected.
