B.D2Demonstrate professional, independent and creative working methods in the preparation, cooking and finishing of contemporary world dishes. Description of activity undertaken: • what the learner did • the evidence provided/questions asked, and answers given: Josh planned to prepare and cook three different contemporary world dishes. A started dish from China, main from France and dessert from Greece. Josh selected, weighed and measured all of the ingredients needed for the meal. Josh selected and used the correct equipment to prepare these ingredients and prepared them as per the plan. Josh cooked all ingredients and dishes as per the prepared plan and presented these in an attractive manner. Throughout the practical session, Josh maintained an excellent standard of hygiene, using clean as you go and ensuring the work areas were kept free of equipment and waste. Josh presented himself in the correct uniform and demonstrated high standards of personal hygiene. Josh was able to demonstrate these skills with limited support as he required some assistance to finish and present the dishes for service. Please state the evidence this record is in support of:
